These Caliber Conversions contain all the parts necessary to change your firearm from it's existing caliber down to the inexpensive .22LR rimfire cartridge. The conversion takes less than a minute. It is achieved with no permanent alterations to your firearm. It can be quickly returned to it's original caliber. They allow semi-auto .22LR fire in semi-auto guns or select-fire operation in select-fire guns. Open your gun, pull out the bolt/bolt carrier assembly, slide the unit in, close the gun insert the .22LR magazine, SHOOT .22LR. It's just that easy!
Kit comes with two Black Dog Machine magazines. The kit does not come with the original metal Ciener mag nor the sear trip and anti-bounce weight.

I started out using these conversions to test accuracy with various AR-15 Uppers. I have owned 8 of these over the years. It's a great little unit. I personally don't care for the Ciener Metal Magazine design and prefer to use BDM Magazines with it... That's the only reason this product didn't rate 5 stars from me...
